Thanks for visiting the blog, Chris. After asking several locals where the best wineries in Monterey County, they directed me to Carmel Valley. Next visit I will have to head straight to Salinas Valley to taste the true heart of Monterey County’s wine region! 🙂

It is producing not only vastly more wine, but very well regarded wines. Many of the wineries are down by Soledad on the western hills and then continuing down into Paso Robles in SLO county.
