So many people need to read this post to eradicate the stereotypes in their head. The history alone is enough reason to get me over there.

It is a shame that you weren’t able to visit everything you wanted while you were there, but the fact that a lovely midwestern dame had an incredible time is testament that others can/should visit too. 🙂
