With the brisk autumn weather upon us in Ohio, this weekend we went to Circle S Farms for some fall fun. To make it extra fun, we went with my brother, sister-in-law, and adorable niece and nephew. With fall in full swing, we had some midwestern farm fun and enjoyed the autumn season.
Circle S Farms is located south of Columbus, outside of Grove City. This family owned and operated farm, offers visitors various farm activities. Get lost and then find your way through the corn and sunflower mazes. Sit in the barn and watch the kids slide down into a deep pile of straw. Take a hay ride to the pumpkin patch to pick your own pumpkin in the field. Or visit the Pumpkin Café to enjoy delicious homemade bake goods (the pumpkin donuts are my favorite!) and a cup of hot apple cider or hot cocoa. We enjoyed being outdoors, with the autumn colors surrounding us and were delighted to participate in the annual fall customs such as hay rides, pumpkin picking and eating delicious fall-themed treats! Visiting Circle S Farms reminded my brother and I, of our younger years when our family had our own annual Fall Farm Fun Day (hay rides, pumpkin carving contest and apple bobbing) with our entire family at our grandparent’s house. If you are looking to have fall fun or reminisce about old farm fun, visit Circle S Farms this fall!
