With the upcoming 40th anniversary of the Memorial Golf Tournament at the Muirfield Village Golf Club this week, all eyes from the golf world will be on Dublin, Ohio! Kicking off the Memorial Golf Tournament Week was the inaugural Fore! Miler race presented by M3S Sports and Ohio Health on Thursday, May 28th. With gorgeous views of the immaculate Muirfield Village Golf Course, sunny skies, and a fun post-race party, it was the perfect evening for a four-mile run or walk!
The Fore! Miler race led participants through a four-mile road race around the Muirfield Village Golf Club. Along with the awesome views of the golf course, participants received a Fore! Miler short-sleeve race shirt, a Fore! Miler finisher’s medal commemorating the Memorial Tournament’s 40th anniversary, a complimentary ticket for the Memorial Tournament Practice Rounds, free admission to the Post-Race Party at the Golden Bear Club, and a complimentary drink to enjoy at the party.
After finishing the four-mile race, participants and their loved ones, gathered behind the lawn of the Muirfield Village Golf Club to cool down and to enjoy the sunset overlooking the golf course. After taking in the sunset and golf course views, participants and their friends and families enjoyed a fun after-party at the Golden Bear Club (located between the 10th fairway and 14th green of Muirfield Village Golf Club). This fun, family-friendly atmosphere catered to all ages, with an awesome band, SWAGG, playing a cool mix of new and old hits. The post-race party was the perfect place to celebrate the four-mile race and the upcoming 40th playing of the Memorial Tournament!
The inaugural Fore! Miler race was an awesome way to kick-off the Memorial Tournament Golf Week, to celebrate Dublin, Ohio, and to raise proceeds for the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation benefiting Nationwide Children’s Hospital right here in Columbus, Ohio!
