Located just west of Dublin (between Dublin and Plain City), is the Glacier Ridge Metro Park.

The park was named for the ridge which was left behind after the glaciers receded over 12,000 years ago.

Prior to becoming a metro park, the site was used for agricultural purposes, after years of resource management, the land has returned to its natural state.

With 1,037 acres of grasslands, wetlands, woods, and fields, this natural habitat has become home to a diverse number of plant and wildlife species.

This beautiful park welcomes visitors to explore Ohio’s nature with two diverse park sections.

The north (main) entrance to Glacier Ridge Metro Park features picnic areas, paved and graveled trails, a bridle trail and arena, a 20-acre disc golf course, and the Wind & Solar Learning Center.

The trails are perfect for bicyclists, inline skating, jogging, walking, and dogs.

My dog, Izzy and I love the paved trails and enjoy spotting the numerous bird and wildlife species which may cross our path!
