Columbus Park of Roses

|

Walking through this park is a dream, the sight of thousands of roses in various colors, and the fragrance throughout the air, will make you smile. I love all flowers, but these roses are special…

The park opened to the public in 1953, with thirteen acres to plant. The gardens now have more than 12,000 roses when bloomed in over 400 varieties! With park benches nestled throughout the park and a well-manicured lawn, this is a perfect place in Columbus to enjoy a good book or picnic! Take a stroll holding hands with a loved one, with your family, or walk your dog through this pet friendly park. Although there are others wandering around the gardens to view and to smell the roses, you will feel like this is your own secret garden.
