Yurts are a new glamping trend that seems to be taking off all over the country. Yurts originated in Mongolia, as a kind of portable teepee structure. Today’s yurts are simple structures that are a step up from tent camping, although there are some pretty luxurious yurts out there; you really don’t need to rough it. Many yurts have heating and air conditioning, plumbing, and electricity. Luckily for us, there are several places where you can experience these unique places to stay in Hocking Hills.
