Christmas in Kirtland Ohio

What makes Kirtland one of the best places to visit for Christmas in Ohio? This town focuses on the true reason for the season, the birth of Christ, with a Christmas Nativity Scene theme. The Kirtland Nativity scene displays are so much more than your typical nativity scene. One of the most unique things about all of these scenes is that they are all made from different materials- traditional fabrics, porcelain, wood, glass and more. There are more than 1,000 different nativity scenes from around the world. These nativity scenes are based on how different cultures celebrate the birth of Christ. This is one of the most moving and educational Christmas activities in Ohio that you will find.

If you have children with you when you visit Kirtland, be sure to check out The Children’s Room. This is an exhibit that is child-friendly, so you don’t have to be nervous about them touching or breaking anything. The kids can also spend time dressing up and taking part in a Nativity Scene and playing games.
